The private memorial service included about 25 guests, and Anna Nicole wore a black dress and pillbox hat. The program featured pictures of Daniel and his mother in happier times and included a message from her that read: My dearest son Daniel, you were my rock, you were the only one that could keep me solid. Onlookers observed tourists trying to photograph the unsightly state of the airport as they made their way outside of the arrival section of the airport. "[Visitors] had their cameras out and were taking pictures of all the water in the airport," said an onlooker. Acting General Manager of the Airport, Joseph Reckley said that airport authority officials were aware of this occurrence, but were unable to do anything about the leaks until the rain halted to the point where someone could go on top on the roof and see where the leaks were coming from.
Anna Nicole Smith To Be Evicted From Bahamas HomeNassau, Bahamas (BANG) - In the latest headline controversy surrounding Anna Nicole Smith, the former Playboy Playmate was recently served papers to be evicted from her Bahamas home after failing to make due payments.The former model was served notice to leave the house where she has been staying in the Bahamas since the death of her son, Daniel, last month. G. Ben Thompson, a Myrtle Beach developer who owes the property has given Anna Nicole until October 31 to vacate the home. The notice was served on Friday by an attorney representing Thompson, who bought the house for $1 million in August. Thompson claims he was under the impression she would buy it. He explained to People magazine, "She said it was a gift. I never said that. I don't have that kind of money.
